Trinity School is a unique, exciting and over-subscribed All-Through School situated on 2 sites around the Lee area of the Borough of Lewisham. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and effective person to join our IT services team.

The suitable person should have proven experience in a help desk support environment, knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and software packages and working knowledge of Active Directory and user/group administration.

This role will require a flexible person with a ‘can do’ attitude, able to travel between both sites assisting all pupils and teachers with hardware and software problems either in person, via telephone or email. The post holder will work under the direction of the IT Manager.

We are looking for an IT Technician who can;


  • To provide a high level of customer service and support to all users of the Schools IT systems
  • Respond to first and second line calls to ensure customers have a positive experience of IT
  • Take ownership of problems and be proactive in dealing with issues
  • Install new or replacement hardware as necessary
  • Install/run cables from computers to interactive boards/speakers etc.
  • Printer maintenance and ink/toner replacement
  • Escalate IT issues to the IT manager when required
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Provide desktop, telephony and server support
  • Set up and configure laptops and desktops
  • Install authorised software as required
  • Support creation of new user accounts
