What do you need to know about us?

We were inspected by Ofsted in November 2013 and judged outstanding in all areas. Ofsted said:

“The exceptional Head teacher is aptly supported by an excellent senior and middle leadership team which shares his high ambitions of an inclusive learning environment where all pupils are treated equally and make outstanding progress.”

We achieved an excellent report as part of our Inclusion Quality Mark in December 2015.

We have a strong track record with inclusion and all of our pupil groups perform very well. Our provision is strong and the successful candidate will work with a large team of staff and will have access to a wide range of well established links with other agencies and professionals.

We have a current school roll of 610 pupils and are gradually expanding to 3 forms of entry across the school; a fantastic extension and refurbishment of our building is helping us realise this.

We serve a culturally, socially economic diverse community.

Our pupils behave outstandingly well and always give their best.

We provide them with a rich and varied curriculum both in and out of the classroom.

We are a happy staff team! We support one another. People want to work with us.

We provide very good support for staff, where ever they are on their career path.

Our parents are incredibly supportive and want to help their children to learn.
